Microfiltration (MF) and ultrafiltration (UF) plants

Microfiltration and ultrafiltration are used to separate suspended solids, colloids, bacteria, and viruses from water.

The membranes used in these processes differ in terms of shape and construction materials.
One of the most common applications of these plants is the pretreatment of seawater or surface water before reverse osmosis.
